Hi There:) My name is Tanya Silva. Please note, I'm no skin expert, but I have overcome this addiction of skin picking and I can tell you, this is more about healing your mind. I struggled for years with dermatillomania until I recently started shifting my thoughts. You see.. your thoughts trigger your emotions and your emotions are what drive you behaviors. I would say skin picking started when I became a Binge Eater. Once I overcame this eating disorder, I was still left with skin picking. Now if I can overcome 2 addictions, I know you can too! I'm here for you and I believe in your success!

Now, don't get me wrong, there's a lot more that goes into this, but here are some tips that helped me:

1. Focus on nourishment vs. destruction. Recognize what triggers you to pick? What else could give you that satisfaction AKA (endorphins) or that "HIGH"?
2. There's a 3 step process of cleaning your skin I never knew of! (That's what this video is about:)
3. Focus on success and continue to visualize your skin is already healed! All you have to do is continue to nourish it!
4. Acknowledge your HABITs of going straight to the mirror. Shift your direction, or look yourself in the eyes before you get into the "trans."

Most importantly, our inner health has a HUGE impact on our outer appearance. The way we speak to ourselves (inner Dialogue), Drinking more water, eating more real healthy foods and eliminating stress thru exercises (movements) that make you "feel good."
